When you create an account we store your name, email address and, if you enter it, your phone number. When you scan a business card we store the card image and the details extracted from it (name, company, title, phone, email, address, notes) inside your company workspace.
Data is used only to run the service: showing contacts to workspace members, search, export and app notifications. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Contacts belong to the workspace and are visible to its invited members according to their roles. Any member can mark a contact as private to themselves. Public share links expire after 7 days.
Card text is read on your phone whenever possible. When server-side reading is required, the temporary image is deleted once processing finishes; the card photo itself stays within your workspace only.
Data is stored on the service’s servers and transferred over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed and cannot be recovered. Access tokens are revoked on sign-out.
You can edit your profile in the app, export contacts, and request deletion of your account or your entire workspace by contacting us at .cardbox@sahl.ps
When you choose Google or Apple sign-in we receive only your name and email address to verify your identity.
